(good) VANCOUVER MUSIC
after living in da' couv' for almost my whole life, i've seen the best of the best and the worst of the worst of the vancouver music scene.
in my opinion, here are the bands you should check out. even if you don't live in vancouver.
FUN 100
they really are fun.
i never get sick of this band.
i recommend "lost in new york". tell me what you think.
but beware of their merch...it's mildewy. but a good wash will fix anything.
plus, in my opinion - good merch design is EVERYTHING. and i LOVE fun 100's merch. i own 2 of their shirts.
THE WINKS
i've photographed this band probably more than i've winked. and i wink a lot. pardon the pun.
their music has really grown on me. but it's different..so beware..only those with an open mind should listen. but please, listen.

my favorite local band.
also my friends' band.
you probably saw them when they opened for MINDLESS SELF INDULGENCE this july.
seriously though, fake shark are AMAZING.
if you like them, please support. and spread the word. they deserve it.
DEFEKTORS
i JUST discovered this band a few weeks back.
and i LOVE them.
they seemed to have jumped on the test icicles band wagon; if you ever see them live, you'll see what i mean.
i recommend "no to the nite". GOLD.
