OK...moving on....

Now that I am done setting the table....

Today I went running as soon as I awoke. I was worried that I had become sunburned, but I lucked out and was fine. I then rushed to get ready, as Beth was going to show us around Pittsburgh before she had to go to an appointment, at which time we would hang around Miracle Mile. We packed lunches to eat at Point State Park.

Beth got all of us lost almost immediately while making our way to the Park. First, she asked directions (but ultimately really wanted to show off) her homeless, crossdresser friend named Claudelle. Honestly, that situation was a little embarrasing, but everyone took it in stride, although they might have been a little creeped out. We then all chatted as we ate, and then went to the Dairy Queen that Beth works at for dessert. I had a fat free fudge bar, but I really wanted a blizzard. Such is the life of a recovering bulimic. Anyway, we then took a taxi to the South Side, as our cousins are not used to the heat. Beth showed us the Beehive, a coffeeshop where she hangs out a lot. We then took a taxi back to meet my mom outside of Duquesne. She then dropped us off at Miracle Mile to take Beth to her appointment. We went to Petland and admired puppies, and then went to Old Navy and Dot's Fashion to look at clothes. My mom called me on my cell while the other two were trying on things to tell me that Beth was very upset that she had showed us the things that "meaned a lot to her" and we were "unappreciative". I knew that that meant that she was pissed that we weren't singing the praises of Claudelle, but nobody was mean about it. I don't know HOW she expected us to act, so I was quite irritated. However, I solved this by going into the car and making much of the other things we did, and luckily my cousins followed suit. Nothing like being the twin of a drama queen.

Anyway, I have just waken from a nap and am now about to eat dinner and then meet Holly at karate. So that's it for a very boring entry until next time.
