WHO:
csi_nick_stokes at first, then anyone.
WHERE: Hospital
WHEN: Greg isn't sure, maybe a day after he was found.
A ceiling. Greg had been watching its off-white tiles swim in and out of focus for a while now. He hadn't yet attempted to figure out what the ceiling was connected to, yet that would come with time.
Something was beeping nearby, and oddly enough, it calmed Greg down. It was steady and constant, and he attemped to keep his breathing in synch with it for a while, yet he grew bored quickly. There was an strange smell too, the smell of cleanliness, harsh chemical cleanliness. Greg didn't like it filling his nostrils.
He attempted to move his head, and he was greeted with a pounding headache and a stiff, cracking neck. Grimacing a bit, he noticed that his ceiling was connected to four walls, which were connected to the floor of his hospital room. Which was also connected to a chair nearby his bed, which was connected to a Texan sleeping awkwardly in it, his head leaning on his shoulder in what seemed like an uncomfortable angle.
Greg tried to hit him, to wake him up, but he found that Nick was somewhat far away and that his arms were too sore to do much reaching. Looking around for help, Greg saw a bedside table that was home to a few brightly coloured cards and some flowers. Picking up one of the cards, he whipped it at Nick, who got hit squarely in the chest by one of its corners.
