"Two weeks! You're like a child prodigy!"
Today was basically filled bitching about and making fun of Coach Height.
Coach Height is substituting for our history class all week, and he is possibly the worst choice for the job. Why? Well, his idea history is a bit contorted. You see, he is the epitome of a Republican hypocrite. Yesterday in class, after we said the pledge, during the minute of silence, he went into a thing about how everyone should say the pledge because it is offensive to him when people don't. This, instead of making me want to say the pledge as it was most likely meant to do, made me want to tell him that it was offensive to me that he was taking up my minute of silence reflection time. I personally find the pledge creepy. And that is my opinion. And I stand behind it.
After that, we kind of figured and hoped he was done, but NO, we were not that lucky. We were then privy to a fifty minute tirade about our government and what we should believe. Basically, all of his sentences have a 'but.' "I don't like war, BUT... we should have killed all those terrorists a long time ago." "I'm not prejudice, BUT... the police officers should go up to any El Salvadorian looking person and ask if they're a legal immigrant because they have more rights than us and are probably in a gang anyway." It only got worse, and he managed to piss off all the independents and democrats in our class.
Today, Mikaela and I were sitting near the wall in English, so we were able to hear him going on again with the same thing with the other class. This, of course, prompted us to bitch about him. So we bitched. And Amico was like, "Haha... Coach Height. He's WAY right wing." And we watched Height stand like a republican and made fun of him. Then I went to Chemistry where instead of working on that stupid project, I talked to KAT-JA about Coach Height again and we made fun of him again by standing and walking around. Then orchestra where we spoke in loud southern accents about the Christian Coalition and other Coach Height-esque things while walking like him. "ARE YOU AN ATHEIST?! DAMN ATHEISTS AND HERETICS. THEY ARE NOT CITIZENS OF THE UNITED STATES BECAUSE THIS IS ONE NATION UNDER GOD!" Fucking Christian Coalition. It was quite the good times though.
Now I'm really tired. I don't know why though. I don't want to go back to school in half an hour for the stupid orchestra concert.
Oh, and my lovely hip bone bruise that is UGLY but doesn't hurt so everyone punches it to make it hurt? It has for sure doubled in size from when I got it, AND I think i'm getting a new bruise above it from where the punches have missed. It's totally hot. If you like bruises, that is.
I should go get my favorite dress EVER on so I can go be orchestral. My favorite time of the day, for sure.
Oh, and seniors! Watch out! Most college professors are liberal! So they're biased unlike the conservative professors! Don't let yourself go over to... the dark side.
