happy birthday to me, i get to spend 4 more glorious years with this moron!

Okay, almost everyone who voted for George Bush is a fucking moron, unless they are rich. Of all the people I've talked to who like George Bush, have literally no intelligent reasons for liking him. They're usually saying they're pro-bush, to be badass or for attention. Here are some reasons I've gotten ( Read more... )

a) I'm a conservative/republican, who is a traditionalist that believes in less government interference.
b) my parents hate bush, but then again, im not pro-bush either. im more anti-kerry. personally, we need a real republican candidate next time to really kick some ass. george w. bush is more like a liberal republican, like teddy roosevelt.
c) i have no problem with gayss, just don't publicize it so much. and face the fact that you can't get married.
d) he didn't really keep america in a good state, but i honestly think Kerry would fuck us up more. i sense many a reform in bush's 2nd term, which is good, because the deficit will go down.
e) this is a fucking retarded reason. if anyone mentions this as their reason for liking bush, they are definitely ignorant. i do support the war though, and i think his decision for war was a good one, he just shouldn't have lied about it. better attack a threat, such as saddam, then wait till another fucking 9/11 and lose countless lives. hey, at least it was like clinton *cough perjury cough*
f) he's christian? so what. kerry is a catholic. the only reason why people would choose this is because kerry makes himself out to be a faithful catholic, but he's pro-choice (yet another instance of flip flopping). he's more of a christian than kerry, i guess, but still not a good reason.

kerry's just an indecisive douchebag, and ima stick with the traditional "not change horse mid-stream" for my support. what really pisses me off is that every ignorant fuck is anti-bush now cuz all of a sudden every celebrity comes with a political view, when in reality they don't care about the country. why do most people hate bush? "cuz he's an idiot". yeah, he's not too smart, but so many people pick out his bushisms as a reason for him being an idiot, and not his choices on issues, which is still a better record than kerry's 20 years in the senate. ok i'm through.

When I wrote that post, you were the first person to come to mind with an intelligent reason for liking Bush. I can honestly see your point in alot of things & yes, Kerry is quite a douchebag, but I'm really anti-conservative & I can't STAND Bush for a number of reasons.

&holy shit, thank you. I swear to God, everyone's reason for hating Bush is because of his low IQ. They don't realize that they don't know anything about his policies. & oh yeah, fuck Celebrities, i'm sick of seeing their stupid political opinions on TV & crap. They think they're more intelligent than the rest of the country(which isn't a big achievement in the first place) & get all this attention for that kinda crap.

but I disagree with you about c). I don't think Kerry would fuck us up more because the democrats have always used the Fiscal Discipline plan (i.e., Clinton, who took America out of the deficit, which was thanks to Reagan & Bush Sr.'s "trickle-down" economics plan.) & I believe that would improve our economy alot right now. Right now, I'm doubting that Bush will make the deficit go down.

Thats the entire problem with bipartisan system; the two candidates are strong in areas that the other is weak. Bush may have an really idiotic idea of national defence, but he still has a plan which is more than Kerry can say, so we can award foreign policy to Bush. And Bush has already proven himself incompotent in domestic policy, an area that the Democrats tend to be stronger in. So If Bush and Kerry ran together, we would actually have a strong nation. Its the whole bipartisan system that fucks everything up..

"Let me now take a more comprehensive view, and warn you in the most solemn manner against the baneful effects of the spirit of party generally...It serves always to distract the public councils and enfeeble the public administration. It agitates the community with ill-founded jealousies and false alarms; kindles the animosity of one part against another; foments occasionally riot and insurrection."
-George Washington on the idea of political parties
