Tomorrow is my last real day in California. Flying home on Saturday. Well, "home"... California will be my real home in a few weeks. Completely surreal.
Saw Lucero last night at the Troubadour. Completely amazing. Missed The Honorary Title but eh, I've seen them before. I went with Liza and Alison. They are two sisters that I use to dance with; I haven't seen them in YEARS!! And now the live out in LA. So yay. More friends here.
Went and got things ready to register for classes. The school is amazing. The avant garde make up the students were doing were amazing. The 40% lifetime discount on make up I will be getting is amazing. Burbank is amazing.
Christina has also gotten me into Rhett Miller and The Old 97's. I'm not going to lie; I totally do not mind. We also went shopping today on Melrose. Not going to lie; I love it.
Alejandra and I were talking about Warped Tour today and it was getting me so completely excited. This year there are four of us in the car. Me, Alejandra, Amanda, and Kara. It should be fun!
My last night in Jacksonville [August 11th], The Working Title is playing at Jack Rabbits. I better see everyone there. Or else I'll cry. ha. They are sooo amazing.
Tomorrow Lee and Mark's band are playing a show. Lee = Christina's man. Mark = this dude I hung out with, friend of Lee and Christina's. He's a nice guy. Nice to talk to.
Seeing Matt Whalen twice in August. That news makes me a very happy girl.
Hanging out with Randy tomorrow, and hopefully Frank if he still isn't busy with the video, then going to the show. Or maybe Frank will come to the show. Hmmmm.... we'll see. I should get to sleep now. Poor Christina has to work at freaking six in the morning. Ridiculous. And of course we didn't find out until 10pm. Awesome.
