Today was great too. We woke up at like 10.30.
We walked around and went into St. Patrick's Cathedral. It was so beautiful in there.
I haven't prayed in a really long time, but while I was there, I lit a candle and prayed for my mom. I don't think it got to anybody or anything, but hey...you never know.
Then we went to the ice skating rink and Rockefeller Center and I made Joy take a picture with me by it.
We went more uptown to a Farmer's Market and some restaraunt called Gramercy Tavern. The only cool thing about it was it's name (Gramercy Park...the song by Deadsy, if anyones familiar with that) And every time you get up to go to the bathroom or something, they fold your napkin. The food was wierd. They had octopus and stuff.
Anyway, then we took a cab to SoHo and me and Joy walked around and shopped. I bought 2 DVD's for 10 bucks, they were bootlegs of Spanglish and Finding Neverland. Joy bought Alfie and then we went to a makeup place and I bought new eyeliner and so did Joy. Walked more, did whatever...Went into a kick ass store called Dom, bought a string of pretty blue lights for only 80 cents, because everything was 75% off, they were closing it. Then we went downstairs to the connecting store called Venus, which was also having a 75% off sale, and it had the coolest things in there, but I didn't buy anything, because it was all like, artsy cool clothes, stuff I would feel wierd in at home. I was gonna buy a new pyramid belt, but I forgot like an idiot. We both got earings at some stand, I got 2 pairs of cute bead thingys, I'm kinda into cute earings now, instead of just hoopies. I went to Quicksilver and bought a shirt. Then we walked to the Apple store to meet back up with her parents and we took a cab back and now I'm at the Hotel. It was so funny, the whole time we were walking around and in the restaraunt and in the cabs, her dad would give me neat little tid-bits of info. Like he told me all about the bread at the restaraunt and how it was called "peasant bread" and why. Things like that.
Joy's sick, she's been feeling shitty all day, so I feel really bad because I'm all energetic and wanna do everything. She's looking up tickets for the Blue Man Group tonight, hopefully theres some tickets we can get, cuz that'd rock.
