how about a really happy post?
i'm headed to san antonio in a bit for my "birthday weekend," as my mother so fondly calls it.
i've been reading nabokov's "lolita" and it's FANTASTIC. read it. now.
speaking of reading, if you haven't been reading married to the sea, you should be.
this is why.
last night there was a meteor shower. i layed outside on the trampoline with a whole bunch of blankets and watched, and i saw three. it was amazing.
boy is fighting for me, uncharacteristically. he even watched the meteors with me from his balcony (or rather, tried to, for city-glow does not compliment meteor-watching). he wants to take me out to a movie sometime "in the next four days."
if he doesn't make my birthday awesome, i am kicking him.
that's his test.
am i horrible? yes. but am i right? i think so.
my birthday, by the way, is tuesday. send me happy birthday comments,
or myspace crap,
or emails.
