sometimes things are so trivial, so stupid, so pointless, that, oddly enough, these things begin to take on meaning. and sometimes these meanings are ridiculous and presumptuous. yet, sometimes, regardless, they begin to formulate stray thoughts in the minds of those they unwittingly infect.
sometimes things are said. and sometimes, whether these things are inane or trivial, certain people shouldn't hear them. and sometimes when certain people do hear them, it makes them think twice about how they feel, what they feel, why they feel. and sometimes when they think about it, they don't know what to do. and sometimes they give up and move on, taking the initially meaningless thing as their cue to leave. and sometimes they don't, hoping that this thing was a product of unthinking frivolity and waiting for a more obvious reason to abandon hope and walk away. sometimes it's best to talk of these things lest they be buried deep within.
