my pirate theme prom
Yes, it is pirate theme, and I wish i could invite beside the point to it. they could do a dance to music from pirates of the carribean.
this week has been crazy. the sword ale was really really fun. the contra dance was so so amazing.
today i was at rehearsal for lockers (middle school play) doing lighting stuff cause that is my job. there was this middle schooler who kept giving me lighting suggestions. he was really telling me what to do, like which lights he thought i should use at what level. really bizarre.
then, after being bossed around by a 8th grader, i went to karen's b-day dinner. HAPPY ALMOST BIRTHDAY KAREN!! it was really fun and the food was delicious. i made a maple cake with maple frosting (which has raw eggs in it- sorry if you get food poisoning, but i think it was worth it). i tried the pirate line (if you were a pirate, which shoalder would you put your parrot on...this shoalder?...or THIS shoalder?) on max nager. it took him two tries to get it. if you need explanation see me personally :)
ooh exciting! i found out that you can dye wool with kool aid (see http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEfall02/FEATdyedwool.html). so...i'm gonna have a wool dyeing with kool aid party in the near future. who's interested?...
