today i was wandering around middletown trying to get a feel for the place and find out what stores and coffee shops are there. i was also trying to figure out whether it is a place where it is okay to talk to random people on the street. i decided its definitly more harmless than nyc.

him: are you married?
me: oh yeah!
him: to a lucky man
well, more amusing than 'hey baby whats up'
anyway, i love it here! i somehow ended up in the very jock/sporty and very heterosexual dorm, but its still wesleyan and fun and i'm making friends with people on my hall. orientation is a bit boring during the day but the parties are fun at night.
