Thanks to my future mother and sister-in law I have become shamelessly hooked on the Twilight series. I read the first two books in two sittings a piece and am impatiently waiting for the other two to come in the mail. I decided to drag Alex to the theater last night to see the movie about the first book and it...was...awful. I know, I know, movies ( Read more... )

I saw the movie, but did not read the books, and wondered what the hell all the fuss was about. I HOPE the books are better...

I suggest you read the books and try your hardest to forget everything you saw in that movie.

Also, I work a double today and I close tomorrow night and will be at a bridal show for a while on Sunday, so I will call you back sometime in between all of this.

I'm getting so impatient that I haven't gotten my last two books of the series. Amazon.com lied and said they would be here yesterday. Bastards.

I love the series too. I'm anxiously waiting for my friend to finish reading the third one so I can start it. I have been slightly nervous about seeing the movie because I don't want it to ruin the book...I just don't think it will compare.

Anyways, how is the wedding planning going? :)

Save your money and either wait until you can rent/netflix it or until someone else buys it and you can borrow it. I ended up wasting $16 for tickets and another $8.50 on popcorn and water. Don't make the same mistake I did, haha.

Wedding planning is going I suppose. I've got the dress, the reception site, the church and pastor, and my centerpieces (which I awesomely got 75% off at Garden Ridge and saved $420!!). I'm going with a fall theme so the decorations were pretty easy to do. My reception is here: www.revolutionmillstudio.com and the place itself is pretty ornate so I didn't have to add much to it. I'm going to a few bridal shows this month which I hope help me out because now I'm stuck and I need to make the big decisions such as caterer, florist, and photographer. Yikes! How is yours going?

Our wedding planning is going pretty good. We have picked out reception and ceremony site already. We've have picked our caterer, but need to set up a time to do a tasting. We are actually going to do our flowers/centerpieces ourselves (should be interesting). I really need to get on the ball and start searching for a dress. It has just been really tough finding the time to get a few of us together. Our next big thing is putting our invitations together (Ryan and I designed them). It's really exciting and stressful, but I can't wait. We really need to make some decisions soon regarding the dj and photography because time is flying by ( ... )

I did one and two....I found the first half of "New Moon" to not be as good. It was blah blah and then BAM- I stayed up until 5 am to finish it. Haven't seen the movie, and still need to read the next two.

Oh yeah, the first half of that book was terrible. I was almost ready to stop reading until the werewolf thing happened.
