Leading by a score of 4-2 the Brewer Witches varsity hockey team scored six goals in the third period to come away with a 10-2 pounding of Mt Ararat on Saturday night in Topsham.
Amongst the 10 goals scored by the Witches were goals from Tyler Coombs and Prentiss Swett, both freshman scoring their first high school goals.
Zach Wilson led the Witches with four goals in the game, and Matt Grimes had a goal and three assists. Here are the goals and assists in order:

Scoring for Mount Ararat was Drew Erickson assisted by Jordan Bichcest, Tyler Hitchcock assisted by Keenan Baker. Goalie Jordan Martin had 34 saves on 38 Brewer shots, and Pat Chambers had 11 saves on 17 shots.
Brewer Head Coach Steve Van Dolman was pleased with ther victory, but uncertain about how good his team really is. “We played well tonight, but the big test is at Waterville on Tuesday. Then we will know if were good or not”.

Aaron came over. We went with my mom shopping, and then we came back here and we watched Strange Brew [hockey movie] and some of Fear Dot Com.. and then he had to leave.
Awesome.. yet disappointing day at the same time.
