wow. it's been like two years. way to suck, kathryn.
Ok so I wound up at BYU. It's way beautiful here and lots of fun.....most of the time. Sometimes I feel like I'm at a summer camp............ but don't get me wrong, it's great. I spent my first two semesters taking mass acting classes and I have learned SO much. They have an amazing program here. It's really hard to get into though- you have to get the right score twice. I got it once in my last proficiency, so we'll see how the ones in december go. I'm not one hundred per cent sure that's what I really want to major in anymore though. My favorite classes so far have been intermediate acting, intro to film, world literature, and music civilization.
I am absolutely in love with my roommate and we are now sisters. I think we're living together for like the next six semesters. She's hilarious and tiny and Hawaiin.
It's spring semester now and I'm working and taking classes. I live about a minute away from my beloved Harris Fine Arts Center where all my classes are, so that's pretty rad. Spring has been great so far. My new roommates are so fun. They're from Hawaii, Tonga, Korea, Vietnam, and Arizona. We have an awesome time. I got to help out on a film shoot a couple weeks ago that my film TA emailed me about. I absolutely loved it and I LOVE all the people I met. I miss it a lot.
This week Andrea and I made finger paint masterpieces and went to showcase them in the HFAC. We ended up taping them to our acting professor's door. they're pretty. pretty profound. Then I worked on saturday. bleh. Later I saw Pan's Labyrinth with Tracy. I could NOT watch the needle part. gah. It was a really beaufitul movie though, I loved it. There were just some really violent parts that were hard to watch. Ah well, we remedied any kind of lingering uncomfortableness by going back to his appartment and watching Shaun of the Dead. haha I really love neon blood. fun stuff.
Jamie and I sang in church today. It was pretty. People told me I have a disney voice and I got excited.
I am SO TIRED. I haven't been myself in weeks. I really have absolutely no energy. it sucks.
so.....nap time.
