(no subject)
The day school called me today. I GOT THE JOB!!! :D
I know I haven't posted about it here, so here's a lil background about this.
Allison (my "sister" haha I live with her family) told me the other day that her job was gonna have an opening like right away (this was last... Tuesday? I think...?) because one of the other girls is leaving. So I went and applied. And I really felt like this was where God wanted me to work, even though at first I was hesitant cause I never EVER thought I'd work in a day care up until VERY recently.
So anywho, a few days after that, we went to grab Allison for lunch (Sis Guerra had kept her car that morning) and Allison grabbed the lady who I'd need to talk to and we had a spur-of-the-moment interview right there. So she said if I didn't hear from her by wednesday (today) or thursday to call them.
WELL!
This past Monday, Sis Guerra took me out job hunting again, just in case the school didn't hire me. And I applied for a light secretarial position and they called me that same day to set up an interview on Thursday at 2:00. Eek. I really wanted to work at the day school! Haha. Well now I get to call them and say I've accepted another job and won't be coming to the interview. :D :D :D
