ahhh, long time...zero communication

i always find that after a lapse in lj posting its always incredibly difficult to get back into the swing of things...::sigh::
this weekend was super-d-duper...i was in the citrus county festival of the arts and took home first place in ceramics and pottery in the high school division, which included a hefty $50 check, WOOT! that was espcially nice, considering that sad state of my financial affairs.
haha, speaking of finances (or rather, lack thereof)...i'm an effing MORON...so this morning, i'm driving to school and jamming to some serious belle and sebastien, when the little yellow gas light flicks on closely accompanied by that annoying chime, telling me that i better get the sebring some mecca expensive f-uel unless of course i was planning on breaking down in the middle of 19...which really isn't all that big of deal, you know...swipe the debit card, get gas and leave. which i did...remarkably well...only i neglected one thing...see, its always nice when you leave your card leaves with you....oh yeah. left it on top of the pump. lol...in first block i called circle k and they didn't have it...so i had to cancel the whole thing, now i have to learn a new pin number and the new one's not coming for, and check out this window, 7-20 days...wtf?! 20 days? a month, to get a new card? jesus. oh well....
i almost died today as well...i made a left hand turn, from the left lane in front of the car in the right lane and at a red light...so i could avoid being rammed by the ambulance barreling down my ass and honking at me. good times.

i'm supposed to be making this poster board for french tomorrow, and the little kids we have to teach...however, i'm just not feeling it.
hahahhahaha, god gotta love little kids. we just started teaching the reach homies at the primary school french on weds. and thurs. and holy wow, there is this one little boy with some serious ISSUES. last week we did colors, and we were like "in french red, is rouge...kevin, can you name somethign thats rouge" haha, immediately he's like, BLOOD. then we were like "what things are blanc?" and kevin SCREAMS "PUSS AND MUCUS!!!"....from a first grader.
alright, i've gotta go get some chocolate.
