Went to see the Yeah Yeah Yeahs tonight, after work with Emily. We even got in for free.

Karen O came out, wearing something I perceived to be a glitterful, skeleton costume spraypainted white in some places, but I couldn't really be sure what it was. It had a hood, that she would periodically put on in the middle of certain songs. She spit water all over the stage and fixed her eyes on the crowd, they played Y Control, and for the most part she just lied down on the ground and danced around. They left the stage, for a good ten minutes, and then came back out with an amazing rendition of Maps. They ended after roughly an hour and a half or so of jumping, screaming, crying, dancing, and being loud, with Modern Romance, and it left the crowd with this empty feeling, I could have stood there and watched them play for the rest of the night.

It was a soul bearing tale, that show. You read into every sound like it was impossible to make. Aliens even came to listen. The energy, the attire, the atmosphere, it was explosive too, everyone was lost. The worlds melted together, thriving and flowing, craving novelty and freedom. People freaked out, they cried at the end, they were hynotized, leaving the zone was heart wrenching. You can be whatever you want to be. leave the cursor blinking
