oh school! stupid school
happy thankgiving to all. it's nice to have things to be thankful for, and this year i have so many things. so many people to thank.
but before that....yesterday shari and i stopped off at my house. i came inside to find that my report card had arrived...
Adv. Spanish Communications: A+
AP Environmental Science: C
College Algebra 1: A+
Creative Writing: A
Digital Video Editing 1: A
Economics & Eco. Decisions: C+
PE Fitness Fall: A+
i was REALLY shocked. sure theres a C and a C+ in there. but that was from an AP class. and i could really care less about economics. i dont have to take a regents for it. and i'm still passing. so of course i flipped out after seeing the report card. shari must have thought i was nuts.
so after checking in at home. shari and i went to make sure we could get into RENT at 7:10. when we arrived shari was told that there was only one person working there. so they put pressure on her to work. oi. she says yes and then asked if she can use the time to train me. ah!! i haven't even done my drug test stuff yet. but the manager said ok. i got a pretty blue shirt (extremely large but thats ok). i learned how to rip tickets and work the concession stand. it sounds silly but it was so much fun. i got to clean up the theaters and dance around in the aisles. the people are usually very nice when they give you their ticket. and i love the whole "welcome to clearview cinemas. theater __, enjoy your show!"
but back to thanksgiving. i am so thankful for the fact that my dad and i are finally done with our fighting. i finally seem to understand him and he understands me. he has much more respect for me lately. it was so important to me to have a good relationship with my father. being that he's the only parent i have. sure him and i have different opinions and look at some things differently. but that's ok. he's still my father and i still love him.
i am extremely thankful for my friends. for being so amazing, for listening to me, for understanding. for letting me be who i really am, for liking me for who i really am. you know who you are and i can't even begin to explain how much you guys mean to me. i find it hard to believe that we've only been friends for such a small period of time. there's already so many memories. through all the drama and everything, we always know whats important. i really do love you guys. =D
