Listen firstBorn in Jimma, Ethiopia, Astaktke studied music around the world and would combine all sorts of Latin, Jazz, funk, and local Ethiopian styles into his songs. Oh man, i hate to admit it but I TOTALLY remember the Jordan Knight song.

It was sooo funny when the New Kids tried to be grown up musicians. Not because they were bad at it or anything, but just because ... they're the new kids on the block, you know?
Ah... the inability to let go of childish things...

Fact: one of my friends went to Jordan Knight's instore performance at our local Sam Goody and got his autograph. A month later we went and saw Tal Bachman. Oh, 1999!

I knew I recognized that song. ''Goody Goody'' I don't know who wrote it first but that song was sang also Frankie Lymon & the Teenagers I think in the sixties in that movie ''Why do fools fall in Love''.
