So my hip's been doing this thing every now and then where I get a sharp pain in my upper-thigh, then I try to move my leg around until it feels like my hip pops back in or something. It's incredibly painful and I don't really know what it is, why it's happening, or how to fix it. It typically goes away in a few minutes, but it started yesterday while Harley and I were walking to the store. It went away after about twenty minutes or so. It happened again while I was walking to work, only this time, it didn't go away. 1.5 miles to work, 1.5 miles home and it still hurts.
I figured walking on it would sort of "massage" it away, but it' making it worse. I looked online, and from my non-medical point of view, my description of the pain leads me to believe it is either Tendinitis, Sciatica (apparently, lower back pain can manifest in your hips), or Trochanteric Bursitis. All I can do is lay on the couch or sit at the computer with a pillow under my ass.
What's worse is I'm missing Josh's show right now because of it. I've been trying to be a better friend, and I promised I would be there and I'm not because my legs have apparently gone on strike. I wanted to Day Glo and have fun with Josh before he goes back to California because I miss his ass like crazy!
I suck. And I hurt.
If anyone has experience the type of pain I'm talking about, what did you do for relief because I can't just lay here for the rest of my life. I have birthday plans and work and oh, I don't know, a life to live.
