i miss having someone that made me laugh
and how when i was with them
nothing seemed to matter
id drop anything to be with them
do anything for them when they needed it
and i miss that so much
i miss the stupid cute things
like holding hands, or saying i love you

but iv come to realize
that it doesnt last forever
and that when you really get to kno them
they change a the drop of a dime

and when i need them the most
they rnt there for me
or have a clue whats iv done
but my friends, the real ones
are there for me, and dont ditch me
they call me to hang out, or just to say hi
and thats all i need, not a stupid boy
who for a short period of time says i mean the world to them
well guess what sweet heart, times have changed
