ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, LOOKS LIKE I'M ALONE AGAIN AND I FEEL FINE!

okay, i know i have been really nostalgic lately, but to fuel my nostalgia, i just so happen to find a cd my sister burned for me at my request a while back.

the first track? "i feel fine" by the riddlin' kids. yes, the song is amazingly stupid and corny, but i flew back to 8th grade within 5 seconds of the song starting.

i heard "trouble" from coldplay, and thought of the keys: "little tricia, little tricia, don't be sad... a piece of cheese will make you happy!"

after a huge chunk of different dashboard confessional songs, there was tenacious d's "fuck her gently", which reminds me of driving home from the fireworks with the windows down, singing/screaming the lyrics at the top of my lungs, and having "happy birthday" sang to me at midnight.

it doesn't make me sad... it just makes me feel old. i'm almost a grown up. a grown up that still laughs at potty humor, and still wants to cry when her toe is stubbed hard enough.

i will not do the adult world justice, so let's just say i am a kid for another five years? how does that sound? awesome.
