fourth of july... bitches!!!!
so, i woke up at 12:30 and got ready to meet molly at work so we could start our explosive festivities. got to work and had a rootbeer float, and left to go to the asian market. what a place. i don't think i've ever seen so many asians (in portlandia) in one place at the same time. we got bok choy, tofu, and i think something else. i'm not sure. but when we were leaving there was this one tiny asian employee who was bustling about looking for a customer who stupidly forgot their groceries. i had to laugh to myself because it's just too funny when asians act like their life will end over something so small. at trader joe's nobody would care if a customer forgot something. in fact, if it was good, we'd probably eat it.
molly has the best backyard i've seen since i've moved up to portland. i love it. we made food, layed out for a whopping 10 minutes until it got too hot and we couldn't stand it, and ate. i think i ate so much i could've exploded. then blue, bella, brady, and bo came over and we kept on eating and drinking and not watching fireworks. however, brady blew fire. that's right, he blew fire. FROM HIS HAND!!!! and then blue blew fire too. it was amazing. what an awesome fourth.
