alright, here it goes.
so i found a new apartment that i absolutely love. moved in and everything. my roommate knew that i was only going to stay until the end of this month at the latest. i gave her six weeks to figure out what she wanted to do and i gave our landlord 30 day notice. so then it was time to search for the apartment and i ended up finding one, applying for it, and getting approved by the 18th of june. within that time my roommate decided that her boyfriend would move in and take my room and started moving in all his furniture long before i was even out. so i toled her that if i was out of the house before the 30th that i expected to get compensated for the days that i was gone. fine, we agreed it would be fair.
so i moved all my stuff on sunday and afterwards i told her i expected tomorrow to be the starting day of my prorated rent. she replies, "well, i don't think that we're going to pay you because we don't think it's fair because of the situation you put us in." words were said and the bottom line is that i'm getting screwed over 200 dollars because my old roommate's a bitch.
