Veronica and I decided to go to Lincoln Road. We ate a banana split sundae and went shopping. When we got to the beach we randomly saw Cristina, Matthew, Tony, and Laura. We were attacked by a needlefish, who seemed to be in love with Veronica, when we got in the ocean. South beach is full of colorful, not to mention topless, people. Now I finally have some kind of color on my skin!
Veronica, Schmidt and I went to Key Biscayne for Matthew's birthday get-together but no one was there when we got there. So we ate some bad expensive sushi and then walked to Pavon's apartment where we waited for everyone else. When everyone got there we walked [for whatever reason] to CVS and Winn Dixie to buy food for the bonfire. By the time we snuck into the beach and had the bonfire up and running it was about 11. When we had to leave we had to jump over a very high gate because we were locked in. Awesome, no?
Nina and I got to Bicentenial Park around 9:30 after asking several people whether Bayfront Park was the same thing as Bicentenical Park. We surveyed the people waiting in line and got quoted by a reporter from the Miami Herald. We met up with Veronica after being violated by strange people. I love Warped Tour; not only is it the ultimate people-watching place it's also a place that you get to see loads of friends. I got so much free stuff, it's ridiculous. I saw very few bands, mainly because the line-up blowed. We left around 6, right before the rain set in, but we DID get caught in that crazy sandstorm. Overall it was a very fun [and tiring!] day.
