amazing
geoff and tony came over at like 730. we left around 830. went to dunkin donuts and i spilled coffee all over myself. got there in time to see gizmachi. met up with tony's girlfriend, casey, and her friend alyssa. watched soilwork, and by the time it dies today was over we were almost all the way in the front. watched arch enemy, trivium, the black dahlia murder, the haunted, a dozen furies (at which time joe and bry found us), and mastodon. then things started getting crazy before as i lay dying but we all stayed toward the front. as i lay dying was amazing. and while they played 'forever' it started pouring rain, and it was perfect. then killswitch engage (which was a near death experience) was worth it. i've never been covered in so much sweat and water and dirt. we were standing from about 10 - 330 constantly. but i got amazing pictures .
after that we went and i met up with my mom, and geoff got food. then we all went and sat near the radio station thing and tried to get geoff a free shirt since him, tony, and joe had all taken theirs off and put it in joe's backpack and geoff fell on his back twice crowdsurfing and he had terrible bruises (i have pictures of those too). then we just wandered around, geoff wanted more food so we stood in line for almost an hour. we tried to find my mom and got caught in the middle of a mud fight that was happening on the lawns. then had to walk back through it. found tony, casey, and alyssa. the girls left to go to the pavillion. listened to shadows fall and watched mudvayne. found joe and bry and sat through iron maiden; we made fun of everyone around us and chainsmoked. then we alyssa and casey again so tony could say goodbye. joe and bry left. me geoff and tony went to find my mom and we watched black sabbath. which was, of course, amazing. the only bands we didn't see today were bury your dead, wicked wisdom (but we heard them from the parking lot), and rob zombie. geoff and i listened to in flames and black label society from inside since we were stuck in the food line. it started pouring rain 3 times, i have never been so dirty in my life, tony got hit in the eye with mud, geoff has disgusting cuts and bruises on his back, but it was still all worth it. AND my brother got a cd signed by as i lay dying kjasdjkasdjdasiuiuadsiouads which i'm taking from him and hanging on my wall. and tony got a killswitch pick.
