we watched a video during class about a girl who went missing in the early 90s. she was missing for three years until they found out what happened to her. she was driving home from dropping her friend off and got a flat tire, so a guy pulls up to "help" her but hits her in the back of the head with a nail gun, stuffing her in plastic bags, and overall nailing/beating her in the head 32 times. he was a pack rat and kept her body in a freezer in the back of a rental truck parked outside of his house for a year before the neighbors reported anything strange. what's creepy is that he lived in newport for two years, and that's where my dad works about 20 minutes from where we live. people are so fucking insane, what inspires someone to do that to an innocent person? i guess he went necropheliac (sp?) on her, for those of you who don't know, thats when you like having sex with dead people. ugh it was so sad, and the rest of the class period we were talking about other crazy murder cases we've heard about. all in all it was a depressing way to end a day and i have 3 tests tomorrow.
