everyone is so absorbed in life's little soap operas. but i'm perfectly content staring down an alley cat on my front porch. we would have gotten into quite a quarrel if the door hadn't opened wide just then. the kitty's face looked real smushed, well, that was the last i saw of him(her) anyway.
and, i've really had it up to here with those heroic types. i'd prefer it if the morally divine would stick to anonymity when performing great, heroic deeds. and faked modesty sometimes cannot be helped, but it is irritating all the same.
ps. it's december! and i like the way that sounds.
