So I am back from France, and Scotland. I had an amazing time, excluding; the flight to France, losing our luggage for 3 days, car breaking down right outside Paris, and the flight back to Texas.
I saw so much stuff in France, that I have no clue what I saw. We spent pretty much week and half touring Brittany (which is like a state of France), and everyday we did something different, sometimes visiting more than one village a day.
When we went to Paris the second tuesday we were there. We had been driving since 9am, and it was around 2:30pm, and my Dad yells "shit, the clutch isn't working." So the car broke down in a town about 75Km from Paris. So we don't speak much french in my family, but my dad had to find a phone to call the car company. after searching for an hour at most my Dad found a place where they spoke a little English. It took maybe 2 hours for them to send someone to pick up the car to get a it fixed, but the garage was closing when that happened, so the car could be fix that night. So my dad and the people helping us were on the phone again, complaining about the fact we don't have a car, and we need to get to paris so
we can find a place to stay. So they eventually send a Taxi at 7:30, and he took us to Paris. We got into Paris around 9, and we got a car around 9:45. And that was it, we had a car, but we were stuck in the middle of Paris not knowing where to go, with no place to stay, and not eaten since lunch time. So it took till around 11 to find a room to stay in, and we didn't get food that night, I was so hungry.
But other than that, Paris was amazing. Then we went to Scotland, which was also amazing. I really enjoyed my vacation.
