Soo, I'm talking to the guy at the Railroad about booking Call it Arson and Quiet Life for the 24th. I'm putting together some info about them, a CDR so he can hear them, and heading over tomorrow after work to see if I can hook this up for real real. Wish me luck. My only concern is that most of the people who know them around here are underage. Really, the only people I can think of that can get in are my buddies, but I mean, we need a lot more than that. So I'm gonna have to do some extreme advertising. I also have to find out if it's 21+ altogether or if you can get in at 18 to see the show. We'll see. Now I just need to see if anywhere wants to book them for an early Sunday evening show.
It's funny to hear me sell these bands though. I'm so not good in that department. I just get really excited and call them amazing and shit haha. But their music will speak for itself. Just make sure you all show up and bring as many people as possible.
Uhh, other news, I take over the office for the rest of the week. Then Monday I'm training my neighbor, Becky, because she'll be the permanent secretary. I'm just the backup because that other project that me and Jason are running will be happening in about a month or so. I'm not wicked confident, but I'm not wicked concerned either. I can only do as much as they've taught me, they can't expect me to be a wiz or anything. Plus it'll be nice to escape the floor where business is kinda slow right now.
