(no subject)
Oh...Livejournal is for actually like, posting stuff, right? About like, my horrid existance and whatnot? Yeahhh, I should pay more attention to this thing. Loads has happened since april -LOADS-
DOWNLOAD:
Was the most amazing 4 days of my life! Adam and I got there on the wednesday and it was pissing down with rain. We pitched our crappy tent....that's an instant erecting tent :3 [hurrhurr] next to some brawly terrible scottish guy that was falling into everyone's tents. So we moved. In the fucking torrential rain we packed up out stuff and embarked. It was possibly the worst 20 minutes of my life stumbling over wet muddy rocks dragging a massive suitcase. We found a hole in a fence leading to a smaller enclosed camping space and instantly erected there. AND THEN WE SLEPT.
Woke up the next day to brilliant sunshine and everything improved from there. We went and peed in some FILTHY portaloos. Then got cofee. There wasn't really much to do on thursday as there were no bands playing - but we did marvel at how last nights muddy mire had completely dried up. We bumped into claire watts for a bit. She's got very thin. We asked about kezia and were told she was around but....no dice. We made friends with the boys in the giant fucking tent next to us. They were lovely lovely ^-^
FRIDAY WAS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE! We woke up, sat in the sun for a few hours, listening to the boys next door's CD player. then toddled off to the arena. Got a veggie burger endured fightstar and were vaguely impressed. Then watched some Dir En Grey doing their thing. The singer is tiny and had to stand on a big metal cage to sing- heehee. Then we caught the end of killswitch engages set over at the mainstage. they were really impressive and i kinda wish i'd seen more of their set. When KSE finished. we set up our camping chairs and waited for Korn to come on. I wasn't all that excited about seeing them as it was my 4th or 5th time but Adam was weeing himself in anticipation. Korn were good. Then I fulfilled a 14year olds fantasy and watched limp bizkit - they were actually awesome. They shouldn't have been. But they were :3
AND THEN FINALLY THERE WAS FAITH NO MORE AND NONA CRIED IN GLEE AND WANTED TO DIE FROM BEING THE HAPPIEST PERSON ON THE PLANET
They were a m a z i n g! Utter perfection. I just wish I'd got closer:

Saturday was awesome. Yet more veggie burgers were eaten and we watched : static X, Marilyn Manson [who was poop] pendulum -who are so so shit. I hate them. the last 10 minutes of dragon force aaaaaand....Slipknot :D Who were, I hate to say it - AMAZING almost as amazing as faith no more. They really know how to get a crowd going, and even though I was riiiiiiiiiiight ast the back, me adam, and the people around were still jumping about like maniacs. I think almost everyone there got down on the ground during spit it out - it was amaaaazing :D
Sunday was kinda relaxed. We got breakfast, drank som beer with the breakfast. Then went home. didn't bother to stay for any bands. But oh my god, I would have loved to have seen steel panther. They're hilarious.
I cant wait for next yearrr I hope the lineup is as good ;_; I can die happy now after that weekend.
I have rambled for ages now.
SO I WILL CONDENSE EVERYTHING FOR THE LIKE, 2 PEOPLE THAT WOULD READ THIS:
I GOT A MERIT FOR MY FOUNDATION DEGREE, WHICH I AM RATHER PLEASED ABOUT. I HAVE FOUND A HOUSE IN BOURNEMOUTH TO LIVE IN WITH SOME AWESOME PEOPLE.
