Sex: cis woman. Location: Seattle Washington How long have you been on LiveJournal? Since 1999/2000 but I've had a long break. Too long! Sadly long. What do you/will you write about? I vent. A lot. Do steam of consciousness, dear, diary stuff,. I write about my chronic illness, mental health, marriage, I post poetry, links to playlists, art, videos, but mostly rambles. What particular qualities do you look for in a friend? Humor, kindness. Accepting, commonalities, people who comment when they can. What would cause you not to add someone as a friend, or to delete them? Being an asshole. "Assholes" include: racists, classists, misogynists/misandrists, homophobes, people who are rude to anyone in a customer service position, people who pity those of us who have chosen not to procreate or that have a disability, body shamers, and anyone with no sense of humor. Favourite films or TV shows: TV:Anything from mid 2000s series, like The Walking Dead, Dexter Scrubs. Or silly 80s and 90s, sitcoms, like Perfect, Strangers and 3rd Rock From The Sun. Currently I'm on a modern British TV series kick. Like, After Life, Misfits, My Mad Fat Diary. Movies:Requiem For Dream, Velvet Goldmine, Womb, Border... Mostly indie, dramas from the 90sxand early to mid, 2000s. But I'm a huge horror film freak. Love everything from 1980 on up til now. Favourite books: All The Ugly And Wonderful Things, The Road, Perfume. I love memoirs and YA Favourite foods: I can't eat much because of health issues, but I love mash potatoes, sushi, cheese, pasta salads... Favourite drinks: Iced Coffee, Ginger Kombucha, chai tea latte. And I'm currently on a diet Cran-Grape kick. Favourite bands and musicians: it's easier to name my favorite genres. Brutpop, shiegaze, dream pop. With some dark wave and 90s grunge sprinkled in there. My favorite band is Pulp, however. Hobbies and pastimes: listening to music, comedy podcasts, crafts, painting, writing poetry, movies, video games, and mostly sleeping. How would you describe your style? Hipster/pink/indie/grunge/lounge wear. Anything else you'd like to tell us? Just that I'm excited to have a place to release my emotions again. And that my life can be triggering, so be aware!
