i feel like i havnt done anything for months but when i actually sat down and thought about it i realised that really wasnt the case...
ive been to the london film festival and done important 'Q&As' with up and coming directors,
ive started on a new direction with my work,
ive been published in my first art magazine,
ive made some new friends,
been to some big and rather wonderful exhibitions
...and ive seen some wonderful gigs... not to mention being stranded in london overnight after one of the aforementioned gigs (final fantasy - it was well worth it...) and somehow coming to the decision that we should get the train to essex. no, we hadnt been drinking.
now, deadlines are looming, my money has run out (my card got declined in the supermarket the other day... not fun at all) and ive got an essay to write about some guy who built a shed and called it art, or something... its not quite going to plan.
still, im off to see patrick wolf at union chapel on the 19th and beths visiting. im starting to discuss maybe moving to london with a friend for my MA... a master of the arts? i think the title suits me fine! now ive just got to get my head around the 803757397 pages of application form for central saint martins... yay.
everything is moving a little fast for me at the moment, its a little scary. i feel like if i relax, even for a moment i will get left behind. its not an entirely unpleasant feeling but id rather it would go away now please... if someone could just sort that out for me... thanks.
(i just read this back and its a bit 'me me me'. sorry...)
