Winter Wonderland
Today may have been the most magical day I've ever experienced.
We knew it was going to snow and it was to start at 6AM. I told Aaron he wasn't allowed to look until he woke me up because it was going to be his first time seeing snow. We woke up and he didn't know if he was ready to look or not. He pulled the curtain away from the window and everything was white. I screamed and got out of bed and threw on all of my clothes and we ran around outside.
We've spent the entire day in and out of the cabin playing in the snow. We had some snowball fights, we built a snowman, and we made snow angels. Our cabin neighbors (there's about 20 of them) came over and invited us to come party with them tonight. They sledded down our driveway all day.
It's currently a "wintery mix" outside so we're waiting to walk over to their cabin until it either becomes snow again or stops.
It's snowed at least a foot today. I'd say maybe closer to 18inches.
The owner of the cabin called to check on us and make sure we're okay. They've been plowing the road all day long but our driveway is very steep. He said he'll come out and plow the driveway for us so we can get out.
Mrs. Myers just called and offered to pay for a hotel for us on Sunday night if it's too bad for us to drive home, which is so sweet. I love her!
