(no subject)
We've been in a blackout for about 2+ days.. freaking terrible. You'd think I could just read or do some activity that doesn't have to involve electricity.. but I couldn't do ANYTHING. Oh my lord it was terrible. And it was soooo cold. No heat. First night me and my little brother watched movies on my iPod.. then it was almost dead the next night so we ended up playing checkers and cards. Haha. The only good thing out of the blackout was that I kind of bonded with my brother.. I think he said something along the lines of how "we only bond when there's nothing else to do..." Which is true, and made me sad a little bit. Otherwise, everyone in the house is in different rooms doing their own thing. Kind of lonely.
Anyhow. No light also meant no doing homework and no Kel coming over. And I could've called someone but I didn't wanna use all the battery on my dad's phone (he took my near-dead one to work to charge) in case he needed to call me or emergency or something. Blaaah, so even a remotely okay weekend was killed. Damn that wind for knocking hecka wires down. When the power came back, I literally sat right up in bed at 7:30 AM and said "THANK GOD." and plopped back down to sleep. Haha.
Well, I got school to look forward to. And finals. :( Pooo on that.
Except.. Winter Ball is Friday!! :D
