... Is to remember to make one next year?
Oops. Okay, here is one off the top of my head. I want to read more. I've been constantly reading something other than textbooks(speaking of textbooks, I'm having difficulties purchasinf mune and it's REALLY annoying) for the first time in forever and it's incredible. Getting lost in a book for at least an hour every day is (Almost? Debatably? Tough call because becoming BFF with Lauren has rekindled my love for TV...) better than having cable at all. Don't get me wrong, a good episode of the OC or the right special on Discovery Health can puddle my eyes, but it could never completely engulf me the way books do. Especially when reading a series, I struggle between not wanting to put the book down and never wanting it to end. On a similar note, I'm sad that I will have much less time, if any at all, to lose myself in books once the semester begins.
The break went by so fast and I can't believe it's almost over. This was probably the most action packed break of my life. Though it could have been more exciting, I'm sure, it was well-rounded to say the least. I've never been so many places in so little time, either. I went to NYC, moved, got tattooed, went to Busch Gardens, went to Vero, and came to South Carolina (where I'm currently located) all in less than a month. Not to mention all the less notable activities I've been filling my time with.
I didn't see enough of Matt Burns. I got a good sleepover with Amanda in. I love hanging out with Jill. I even got to spend a little more time than usual with James. I still feel like I haven't seen enough of my friends... Probably due to working retail during the holidays. The paychecks will help me sleep at night, though.
So here I am in South Carolina with James and his family. It's a cute little house with a cute little pug and they are cute little parents. His mom and dad are in love with Wii sports and it's so funny. They also got me Christmas gifts and it melted my heart. It's so sweet, I feel guilty that I didn't know something to give to them but I know they don't mind. I did send them a Christmas card though. I'm glad that James asked me to come with him.
I'm excited about my classes and getting my hands dirty (actually, I think a lot about how I should keep my hands well-manicured since I will soon be comminicating with them) in my major but I just wish I had a little more time!
I've been awake since 6 AM and I typed this on my phone... It's bound to have some errors and I apologize for that.
