Hi! I'm Melissa. I'm coming from insanejournal and looking to have some active friends. I just made this journal today so bear with me on how empty everything looks. I am also terrible at telling people about myself. Sorry.
I am 24 years old living in New England. I am in college - currently switching majors from Radiology Technology to Surgical Technology and I am really excited about it. I live at home with my mom, step-dad, and 14 year old brother. I have a cat and three dogs. I love to read and am constantly building up my book collection. I'll read just about anything but my favorite genres are horror and memoir. I watch a lot of movies and quote them often. I have too many favorites to write out. I don't watch a lot of tv but I love The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Parks and Recreation, Breaking Bad, and I'm just getting into Orange is the New Black. Music-wise, it's mostly rock and pop. My current favorites are Zeromancer, Deftones, Marina and the Diamonds, Lana Del Rey, Imagine Dragons, and Florence + the Machine. On my last blog I did more ranting than updating and I'm really hoping to change that. I think working on updating more will help since my entries won't be so loaded in one sitting. A lot of things have changed for me already this year and the transitioning has been both difficult and exciting. I feel like I am an easy person to talk to. I'm more of a listener than a talker. I have made long-lasting meaningful friendships over the years through blogging websites and I am hoping to make more!
