Lately, the combination of a repetitive schedule of daily activities and a lack of motivation has got me into this rhythmic pattern of thought that pretty much makes it impossible to get anything done. I find that i think the same things at the same times almost daily. It's weird and kind of scary.
I'm planning to do a documentary essay on Suburbia, specifically Ewing Township, as a final project for my photo class. I feel like in many ways, Ewing could be almost anywhere in America, but at the same time, there is something (though I'm not sure what) that is different about it. Do you guys agree? Anyone have any ideas about Ewing that you think I should look for when I start shooting? I'm thinking about doing some panoramas of the millions of strip malls, dollar stores, and seven elevens around here. I also have a few old photos from Ewing High that I might or might not be able to use, depending on which direction the project goes.
