I'm a writer, that's what I do
I just write the words on paper
I watch as they fall into place upon cue
Sometimes my words are the truth,
But most of the time my words are nothing but thoughts ive construed
Being good with words isn't about writing what you mean,
It's about writing what you know will mean something to others
You write something sad,
People can feel for you
You write something mad,
People can feel angry with you
When you write a sheet of lies
No one can tell its not you
No one can tell that your being dishonest
How quickly we let our emotions appeal to these writings of nothingness
Oh and how badly I feel when these writings are praised
How miserably my heart aches when someone compliments these tamed lies
