pointless updates
so begins the final week of the semester with a sunday night, in which I located, edited, lengthened and e-mailed six missing and/or failed written assignments for IPC, did an abstracted wet-on-wet ink wash painting of a rainy highway at night (based off of a real picture that I conveniently left on the other side of town, thus it was from memory) for drawing, and frantically filled up a good amount of pages in my sketchbook as I anticipate its collection tomorrow.
tomorrow, after drawing and art history, I'll be cooped up in the studio resolving my installation piece.
over the weekend I got some christmas shopping done. I have a few gifts for my mother, one really stupid one for my dad, and a few little things for my brother. Most of the family will be recieving artworks and/or photos. Grandparents always love getting pre-framed pictures of you.
I wish I was much richer. not even so I could blow it on trivialities for myself (although I can't say I wouldn't enjoy that), just so I could get everyone something for christmas that they really wanted or needed.
first tennessee rules. apparently I have a check for $100 waiting for me at home, a gift for opening a new account. :D
