Right before I leave
Yesterday was fun. My employer...my boss, took my coworkers and I out to dinner at a very expensive cajun restaurant in Shreveport. It was great besides the fact that I was still a tad bit sick and I would "lose my head" every so often. I let Bryan listen to my Mos Def CD but he's way too into "crunk" style music to appreciate...real music. I wonder at times where are the modern day Marvin Gaye's, the Jackie Wilson's, even the Smokie Robinson...and i've figured that the reason there will be no more of those is because real music is not appreciated now as was then. Real artists and musicians are sat on the back-burner, underplayed, and ultimately dismissed just so that Lil Jon can make another club song...
