ok
i got 100% for my photography folio. And a distinction for my jewellery making this semester. Im totally sitting on a high distinction all up for this year. WOO. I had an exhibition too that went really well and ppl liked my stuff. Uni is totally going so well right now...so much damn hard work paid off. So many midnight runs this semester in the studios..it all pays off! thank fucking christ:/
Went to Bunya Mountains for a week camping and ate bunya nuts like the indig. ppls used to, over a fire in the ground. heh! Next week im off to Canarvon Gorge out west for another week of camping, this time in tent and not a van. Which means carrying everyhing to keep me alive. We have dehydrated food! and multiple layers of thermals. um what else.
Tasmania and China at the end of the year...all possible with todays job application efforts. goodbuy Myer and hello 2 jobs again but! Such a cooler place to work. I can wear my peircings all the time now:) Hopfully fingers crossed. Should hear back this weekend. Ah connections. IT WORKS.
What else...umm. Will be in a huge exhibition in a few months and will post details of this when i know exactly when it is. What i do know is it will be held here at QCA Southbank and it will be a collective of many diff. practices and methods. 2nd and 3rd yr ppls.
ITS DAMN COLD
and awsome. my little flat is cosy and we now have a BRAND NEW WOK which means we can only eat baked beans till its paid off but but NEW WOK. ^_^ this can only mean delicious things.
THings i learnt this year-
1. the art of budgeting
2. dont lie to centrelink THEY KNOW EVERYTHING
3. i am nothing without camping
4. i am nothing without thermals
5. when its 0 or below degrees, camp fires DO NOTHING TO KEEP YOU WARM. only a house can fix that problem. House on fire. and your inside.
