(no subject)
Back in Bris:/
But yah for clean clothes and showers! Spent the week down at Broken Head in NSW for ma birthday and to celebrate the end of uni and a damn successful year. Camped out at Lennox Head and mosied around to Byron Bay area. Mostly Broken Head. Monday involved sleeping in to rediculous lengths and arriving and sight seeing/ocean staring. That night Iason and i built a fire in the sand and fire twirled till the rain pissed all over us and the fire. Some happened tho and there are cool photos. Tuesday we awoke to a lovely sunrise over the ocean, conveniently veiwed from bed (out the back window if the van if you proped your head up) so i veiwed mine form under the blankets and Ias veiwed his from the sand. The most beautiful day followed that...sunshine, blue skies...had a morning swim in the sea, had breakfast down at the bottom of the NP. Cheaked out the different beaches at at Broken Head...the first one i cant remember the name of, was great...little shady spots. Must show photos. The next and final one we spent the remaining of the day at was fing GREAT. Whities Beach i think it is. oh my goodness. The most amazing rock alcoves and cave like spots. I cant possibly explain. Went for swims there and drank the last bottle of Oreillies wine around the corner all secluded like. Drunking at the beach surrounded by rocks and the setting sun became the day in which i clebreated my birthday (even tho the actual day was on wed)..it was damn romantic and damn fun. On the way back to the path i found my keys washed up right there ont he sand in front of me. lol. I chose not to think about that one too much. *shakes head*
Anyway-wed morning was also sunny. Had breaky up on Lennox Headland thingy...climbed to the top, picked wild flowers and looked down to my fav beach and the place we slept.
Rain set in that afternoon just after we had got back from the fire stick/ didgaredoo shop. Infact a huge bloody thunder storm rolled in and sent us back to Sharpes Beach. We sat in the van and watched the massive black clouds come in and pound the shore all around us. The car shook all afternoon and night. Without anything better to do, beer was drunk and i played iasons didgareedoo. That was kinda cool in a way:)
Went into Byron on Thurs to pick up the fire stick id ordered to my size and beacause of the storm still present, went back to the gold coast and showered at parental place and ate. Then went to work:(
I must say tho-ive never been happier in all my life.
