stuff it. here they are. thuesday Iason and i drove up to Binna Burra (which incidentally is RIGHT near Cedar Lake in which i spent the happiest times of my childhood). We camped out in the van for the night to get a good early start in the morning.
http://www.binnaburralodge.com.au/exploring/index.php?action=viewWalk&id=13We took the Ship Stern circuit which took us about 4 hrs to reach beacsue we took every extra detour they had to see all the lookouts and also resting times...drinking from fresh springs...nothing compares. THe entire walk worked out to be 23.4 km and took 9 hrs. I also realise that thats my -absolute- limit. I collapsed about 3 times on the forest floor nearly in tears. I had couldnt make it up the car park and had to be picked up. It was amazing. Crying and laughing. Absolute peace and quiet and tranquility.
Beacuse we are both together for the collaborative installation peice for uni, we are going back there to do out project out in the national park. So it was productive too. many memories and scenery ill never forget. On the drive home we experienced the most reddest of sunsets ever imaginable...couldnt capture it on film but we tried.
Such an accomplishment, the journey. Never would have imagined i could walk so far...up hill too for alot of it:/
yah adventures:)
To make those few days even more magical...we had to pick up his dad and his buisness partner from the airport on the way home...and from the airport to the house, i landed a graphic design job. Full on logo and illustrative work for a new brand for their business. Towels mugs postcards blabla.
$$.
oh god.
THIS WEEK IS GOOD.
