pr0ny physics prof

The professor sadly burdened with trying to make me (and about twenty of my classmates) understand basic electrostatic/magnetic/optical physics is Turkish, but doesn't have much of an accent, just odd word emphasis that made things seem vaguely ...filthy.  (much improved from the general bored out of your mind feeling).
Several of the problems today involved charged rods and the electric fields they generated.  Every time he had to say rod in a sentence, it came out something like, "To calculate the force on point O, we must first calculate the electric field from the R h o d  at a distance x away." Yes, he said the italics and the really drawn out-ness and made it seem like he was putting as much emphasis on the word as possible so that you couldn't help but think you were supposed to read into it.  And that was before we got to i-head. Yeah, so anyway, apparently I should focus more on the actual physics, huh?

ETA: For the purposes of procrastination and theme continuity, enjoy the cat and butter conundrum, particularly the second entry on this page.
