Drag angels and the war on terror
Yes, you did indeed read the subject line correctly. I stopped by the corner drugstore on my way home from work this evening because my mother had decided that she absolutely had to have clear nailpolish right this instant. Being wise enough to just shut up and not ask for a logical explanation for the 6 bottles we already have in the bathroom cupboard, I waited in the ridiculous line and overpaid like the wonderful child I am. But while I was waiting the 12 years it took for me to actually pay, I got to read the tabloid headlines.
Apparently, angels are now helping in the war on terror. Ok, so that in and of itself isn't so humorous. The pictures of 4 drag queen angels, however, had me laughing so I hard I couldn't breathe. I may have been too loudly amused, though, because a little old lady ahead of me who was actually purchasing ALL of the different tabloids gave me the best death glare I've seen since I last had a nun as a teacher.
