Lol! That's a lot more interesting than a melon baller! And way more fun than anything I put on my list - I'm trying to get my parents/other family members to pay for textbooks for next semester.
A trip to London'll be fun! Are you going to be a proper tourist and go around with a camera glued to you snapping photos of *everything* or is it a more refined visit?
Sadly, the only place I am going in January is back to college for what will probably be the hardest undergrad semester. :-/
I'll be going to the Pegasus3 convention (the ticket for which I also got as a gift, as well as the hotel room *coughs*) and then stay in London for another two days of mad sight-seeing. :D
So I guess if I can convince my parents to lend me their camera there'll be photos of, dunno, highly interesting things like road signs and my thumb and those tourist buses and my hotel room and my thumb and my friends and my thumb.
See? It's things like that which make me glad I didn't bother with a higher education. ;)
The best vacation photos are the ones you take of your friends when they're not looking, or chewing, or in the middle of a sentence, so they end up looking bizarre, mentally retarded, or both. And as evidenced by the photos on my memory stick, college does not make you able to operate a camera.
I can totally understand the math thing - I'm probably going to have to take a math class this summer to be on track with requirements. At least you're done with it, beyond balancing a checkbook!
