#6 The Croods
Super fun animation starring Ryan Reynolds & Emma Stone as cavemen (&women) at the 'end of days'. Bright & colorful, full of laughs & action, and it's entertaining for the entire family.
#7 Alarm
An Irish film about a young woman who moves out of Dublin to try and make a life after the home invasion that took the life of her father.
This film had my stomach tied up in tense knots from the get go and stayed that way to the very last minute. It's not a 'scary' movie, but it definitely would have frightened me if I were living in a house alone. Very psychological triller feel & definitely worth the watch on Netflix.
#8 Casanova
Who doesn't love David Tennant & Peter O'Toole? Two part Masterpiece Theatre production about the adventures of Giacomo Casanova as told by old Giac (O'Toole). The film is full of Giac's sexcapades. It is funny and exciting and tragic; all the things a good life should be.
