100 Movies Challenge
So early this week teriwithbraids issued a challenge to me and nessaky. The challenge: to watch 100 'new to you' movies in 2014 & give a report back with our thoughts. Doesnt have to be anything more than a sentence or two. Sounds like a great idea, right? Except that of the 25 hours of movies that I've seen this year, only 2 of them have been new to me. But I'm going to give it a whirl. Here goes nothing.
#1 The Secret Life of Walter Mitty
Starring Ben Stiller
Cinematically Beautiful! Especially the scenes filmed in Iceland. Lovely story about finding the secret to life. Not your typical Ben Stiller movie. I loved it!
#2 Oblivion
Starring Tom Cruise
Strictly speaking, I don't care for Tom Cruise, but as I was needing to add movies to my list, I gave it a go. A futuristic dystopia. So many plot twists that you're never sure what's true. You'll have to pay attention to really reap the benefits of this movie, but I really did enjoy it. Bonus points for including GOT's Jaime Lannister.
