As I said before, beautiful character piece; you've captured both John and Mary so perfectly. You can really see the John he's going to become in the John he is here and damn if you don't just want things to turn out differently!

You really do! I can't help but be a romantic and am a sucker for happily ever afters. I'm also one of those people that goes looking for that one moment that changed everything. What would happen if I'd chosen path B instead of A? How would my life be different?
What would it have taken to truly give John & Mary a happily ever after?
So sad. :(

We should see more John in love. I can imagine Mary had quite the temper and it seems that John was smart enough to ask for forgiveness.

You just know Dean's exactly like her. :) Firey, passionate, loyal...I wish we had more of her on Show. And I really wish we had more of preseries John. He gets such a bad rap, some of which I'm sure is deserved, but down deep he's a good guy and a good father. It would be so nice to know what he was really like before it all went to Hell.

Just to let you know, I write almost all preseries with quite a bit of John. He's not always a perfect in my mind, but he loves the boys. I you ever have a hankering for preseries check them out!
